~ Collision: damage to the vehicle caused by collision (with another vehicle or with a fixed object) or by the car flipping over. Covers total loss when damage to the car exceeds 75%.

~ Comprehensive: damage to the vehicle caused by anything else. For example: fire, theft, glass breakage, public disorders, or objects that fall on the vehicle.
